Nick Jacobi

General Manager / PGA Master Professional

In November of 2020, Nick Jacobi was named General Manager at Stonebridge Golf Club. Prior to arriving, he was General Manager and Head Golf Professional at Monroe Country Club in Monroe, North Carolina.

Nick is currently one of only 20 PGA Certified Golf Instructors in North Carolina, and as of 2012, became the 10th PGA Master Golf Instructor in the state. Nick was recently a Finalist for 2017 and 2019 Carolina’s PGA Teacher of the Year as well as a Finalist for 2019 Youth Development Award for Carolina’s PGA. Over the past 10 years as a member of the Carolina’s PGA, Nick has consistently ranked in the Top 20 players annually, won several Pro Am events and finished high in many Carolina’s PGA Majors.


Nick began playing at an early age in the small town in central Missouri and went on to be one of the top high school golfers in the state. After graduation, he attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. At Methodist University, Nick played all four years on the golf team and earned his degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Professional Golf Management. He completed three summer internships working at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, Chicago, and in Pinehurst. After college, Nick moved to Florida where he competed on the Hooters Tour Winter Series.

After realizing that he could hold his own, but not compete day in and day out, he moved back to North Carolina where he accepted an Assistant Golf Professional position at the prestigious Wade Hampton in the mountains. Nick worked several more years in Charlotte at Firethorne Country Club, Dana Rader Golf School, Carmel Country Club, and Emerald Lake Golf Club.

Nick spent three years as Head Golf Professional at The Badin Inn Golf Club, and in 2013, as the Director of Golf at Tillery Tradition, he accepted the position as Head Golf Professional at Monroe Country Club. In November of 2020, Nick was named General Manager at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe, NC.

Over the past twenty years, Nick has given more than 15,000 golf lessons, developed many junior and ladies’ programs. He has taught classes at Queens University of Charlotte in their PGA Program. Nick founded the first ever Charlotte area winter tournament series for PGA Professionals. Nick has served as swing coach for Wingate University.
